pTetR-LasR-luxR-HMGB1-luxR-pslG-luxR-lysis_E7

The tetR promoter constitutively enhances expression of transcriptional factor LasR, which can bind to AHL 3OC12HSL. Then, LasR-3OC12HSL activator complex can open luxR promoter, leading to production target proteins(HMGB1 and pslG) and lysisE7. LysisE7 can be produced to lyse bacterial cell body and release target proteins.

Nevertheless, the true utility of our system lies in its ability to precisely eliminate diverse bacterial biofilms through the modification of receptor proteins of the quorum-sensing system and targeting proteins specific to each bacterium, owing to its assemblability.
